New introduction for score, ranking, title of BitComet registered user

There are some changes for Comet passport score. So I made this new post and unpinned the old one. If  you want to see more details and wish to know new information timely, please always check BitComet Wiki.

 

  •  Note: Please download the new version of BitComet to support this feature.

  •  Object: BitComet registered users（Unregistered？Register now）

 

  •  Calculation for Score
Score = Points from online time + Points from upload bytes
1. Being online can generate 2 points per hour but 20 points at most per day.
2. Keep uploading files via BitTorrent protocol can generate 1 point per 10MB but 100 points at most per day.
3. Downloading files via BitTorrent protocol doesn't affect Score. The same applies to HTTP and FTP protocol.
4. Score gets refresh in 24 hours.
  • Ranking
Ranking consists of comet  (16), moon  (4), star  (1).
For example: Ranking 5 equals to , Ranking 21 equals to .
  • Max Resources
Max Resources mean the number of connections to P2SP. The more connections to P2SP BitComet gets, the faster downloading could be. The number of connections here doesn't equal to the connections normally launched by BitComet. It only relates to newly designed P2SP system. We are speeding up the one who is willing to upload by involving this.

The caps are very important actually. rank advancement can be made only by investing time as a member. Without Capping the limit per day, it would open the system up to being hacked and require thousands of moderators to ban people trying to hack their stats.

That's good, but when I checked my total upload in the statics section,it was 20.14 GB, then 8 hours later I checked again and it becomes 18.95 GB, which means the more I upload, the less I got, so how I can get my score up? Just a question.

Is there a reason that the "Senior Colonel" rank is used instead of Brigadear General? The PAV (formerly the NVA) is the only country I can think of that still uses that rank. If you wanted you could add more slots by inserting a 5 star general at the end while still maintaining field marshall as the highest rank.
