It seems that The Pirate Bay is down, and possibly for a good while. To quote wikipedia, "On 24 August 2009, a Swedish court ordered the largest ISP to the Pirate Bay, Black Internet to shut the site down to which they complied. But after a brief break of 3 hours the DNS was relocated and the site came back online." The site did in fact come back online as I used it, but it has since gone back down. There are rumours that you will now have to pay to use the site, so it may be down to get fitted for that type of usage. Back to using isoHunt, Mininova and btjunkie!
EDIT: Good news! The Pirate Bay has been quoted saying they are "relocating their site to another ISP and are only suffering technical difficulties." Hopefully them Swedes will get it sorted out soon and fast.

In case you didn't hear, a cold front ripped through Southern Ontario last Thursday, and spawned 4 confirmed tornadoes. One hit Durham at about 2:30pm, killing 1, and 11-year old child. Later in the day the storm approached my home town of Oakville, Ontario and it was pretty cool to witness. Green clouds, the storm itself was moving at 60km/h and rained so hard that the street was flooded in 15 minutes. Freakish lightning also pounded the area. Fortunately we didn't have any tornadic activity in Oakville, but 3 more tornadoes were spawned, one in Milton, one Vaughan Mills and the last in Collingwood. To give you an idea of what it was like, here's some videos to give you food-for-thought..

As you can see, these weren't just weak tornadoes, I think one was an F1, and the rest F2, maybe an F3. All of that and only 1 fatality. One would think that we were fortunate.
