Goa Trance (sometimes referred to as Goa or by the number 604) is a form of electronic music that developed around the same time as Trance music became popular in Europe. It originated during the late 1980s and early 1990s in the Indian state of Goa. Essentially, Trance music was pop culture's answer to the Goa Trance music scene on the beaches of Goa where the traveler’s music scene has been famous since the time of the Beatles. The name Goa came to European languages from the Portuguese colonizers, but its precise origin is unclear. The Indian epic Mahabharata refers to the area now known as Goa, as 'Goparashtra' or 'Govarashtra"' which means a nation of cowherds. The BMP typically lies in the 130 - 150 range, although some tracks may have BPMs as low as 110 or as high as 160! I don’t like psychedelic goa or psytrance it has too much "noise" (usually a saw-wave which is run through a high-pass resonance filter) But I Love the Sound of the normal and progressive goa, u can see it as Trance music with a faster energetic beats that sound like the drums from the Arabic music plus a higher amount of the variation in melody and sounds during the track, which gives u a feeling that the music is alive like in jazz. I will be posting the albums that you can download from the torrent sites. I hope you will enjoy the ride in The World Of Goa.
