BitComet - Download Video

The new version of BitComet can download any video from any video sites, including YouTube, Google Video, dailymotion, glumbert, metacafe, ifilm, guba, and any other sites you want.

 

Here is how it works: 

1. Open the webpage containing flash videos.

    Right click on the blank part of the page (note: do not click on the video frame),

    Select “Download specific using BitComet” and click on “Download Videos”.  未命名-1  

 

 

 

 

 

2. The webpage will be reloaded again in BitComet Resource Browser” like the picture below.

   

    You may need to play the video before click on the button as shown in the picture.

 3. Select the files you wanted to download then click “Download select”.

4. Your BitComet will be enabled and a prompt window like the following picture will be shown to you.

 

Click “start download”, the video file will be downloaded soon.

Has anyone fixed the problem of BitComet 0.97 not downloading video files from YouTube when using IE7? I have just followed the instructions and they do not work as shown. At stage 3 nothing appears under "video". When checking the status BitComet shows that YouTube is the referrer and stops. It's not actually doing it the right way around, it's back to front. It should point TO the YouTube file and download it - not putting the video file you want as the referral site. All BitComet is doing is downloading the SWF files rather than the FLV one. If anyone is stuck I would suggest a google for sites like VIXY that will intercept the file for you.

Let's hope the video download can be fixed for a future release. I'll try it on Google and Mischief.inc to see if it does the same.

to download from youtube you get the youtube video downloader which i found a torrent for...sorry i dont remeber where...but the downloader helps you get the video and then you can convert the videos to the file you want

There are many ways to do this, the free way:

open that video in VirtualDub using avisynth's directshow source, then save as an mkv file, then you demux the audio file out with mkvtoolnix + mkvextractgui, or do something video -> audio

(google for the softwares)

just search for Total Video Converter in any torrent site. That software will allow u to do any video/audio format to any video/audio format convertion. i mean from a video u can draw only audio to any audio format. And that's all easy. myself is using the software for quite a long time. And it is superb in result! Any video format to any video format also possible especially the latest trend of mobile phone video formats.

Just download YouTube Downloader it is a very simple and small program just enter url(paste from youtube) and start downloading,it can also convert downloaded files to any known formats :) I can't remember the exact adress but you should try to google it out i'm sure that you will find it from the first atempt

if I helped anyone about downloadig files from youtube i'm HAPY

P.S this downloader can also download audio/video contents from other sites not only from youtube just a hint...... good luck to all good people on this small blue planet from mr.MooN
