What's the movie of the year 2007???
Robert Neville is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain

300
I
have a solid WI-FI connection and bit of time before my next Sundance
screening so I figured I would post these two new 300 movie posters.
One is the normal one sheet and one is for the IMAX release. While they
are just about the same, I figured you would want to see both.
As
I have written numerous times – 300 is a great movie and one that will
kick your ass when it arrives March 9th. One of the reasons I loved the
film is that it’s both a great artistic achievement and it also tells a
great story. I can’t say enough good things.
And
before I go, I saw the press screening this morning of The Good Night.
It’s the first feature from Jake Paltrow and it stars Penélope Cruz,
Danny DeVito, Martin Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow, and the always
brilliant, Simon Pegg. I dug the hell out of the film and am working on
my review right now. If you are a fan of any of the people in the cast
I think you’ll like it a lot.
I’m
going to try and get my second batch of reviews up tomorrow but I’m
watching a lot of films over the next two days. I’ll try my best. I'm
back in Los Angeles on Monday so you can expect a lot of stuff next
week. And I've landed some great video interviews...I think you'll all
be happy with what is coming.
Ghost Rider
Columbia Pictures has reveal your first look at seminal character from the upcoming comic-book adaptation, Ghost Rider, starring Nicolas Cage, by updating their teaser site for the film and featuring a 10 second piece where you see the blazing Ghost Rider for the first time.
In order to save his dying father, young stunt cyclist Johnny Blaze
sells his soul to Mephistopheles and sadly parts from the pure-hearted
Roxanne Simpson, the love of his life. Years later, Johnny's path
crosses again with Roxanne, now a gogetting reporter, and also with
Mephistopheles, who offers to release Johnny's soul if Johnny becomes
the fabled, fiery Ghost Rider, a supernatural agent of vengeance and
justice. Mephistopheles charges Johnny with defeating the despicable
Blackheart, Mephistopheles's nemesis and son, who plans to displace his
father and create a new hell even more terrible than the old one.
Directed by Mark Steven-Johnson, the movie rides into theaters February
16th, 2007, and is set to star Nicolas Cage, Jon Voight, Wes Bentley,
Eva Mendes, Matt Long, Sam Elliott, Peter Fonda and Donal Logue.
