i have no idea about on case. could you please help me to solve this problem.?

if i am the log and if i like the woman, i would be sad to let her go..

either way, i would still let her go if there is a boat passing by if

it ensures her safety(unless 'log' and 'boat' have different meanings)

I suppose that there isn't enough space for both of us - me, as a log, and her... I would let her go but I would surely be the saddest log ever seen on Earth... But only for a while, because a log can float and if there was the right wind it would sail me right to the shore where the woman (the one I love) would wait for me...

there is an other way to see it:

you can be sad to say good bye to her,

but you should be happy of being important to her... you probably saved her life.

beacuse of this the lines of their lives have crossed.
