Vegas is one of the strangest places that I have ever been. Don't worry, I am going to leave all of the upcoming presidential cauceses coming to Vegas for this one. It has such distinct contrasts, even at a simple glance it's easy to see. During the daylight it looks like your average everyday meltingpot of people from everywhere trying to just do their thing, another big city in a world brimming with big cities. But at night, she just comes alive. From just about anywhere in town you can catch a glimpse of it's treasure, but if you are able to rise above whichever structure you are around, you can catch the full horizon of twinkling lights brightening the Las Vegas Strip. It's absolutely breakthtaking, one of the great modern wonders of the world that such monoliths dedicated solely for the purpose of getting your money, can have such a stunning, lasting affect on your heart. It's amazing what the human mind can do when put to the test, isn't it?
Whatever you, or I, think about Vegas, people will remember the Las Vegas strip thousands of years after the sands of the desert take back their space.
