I have to admit I didn’t have much interest in a big screen adaptation of Get Smart. I initially thought Don Adams role was simply to iconic to be remade… until they cast Steve Carell in the part. From that moment, the movie had quite a bit of potential, and every trailer, commercial, and image released from the movie has increased that potential.
A new, second trailer has been released via Apple and it continues the trend of making the movie look pretty darmn awesome. This time not only does Carell look good (and get in one of the show’s classic catchphrases), but Dwayne Johnson looks like he’s got some potential as well. Even cooler than either of those is Anne Hathaway, who shows a little flesh but kicks much ass. She may be the highlight of the movie when it finally hits screens, and I’m not just saying that because I lust after her… okay, maybe a little.
