The Illegitimacy of the State of Israel

Starting from today, I will post periodically regarding tense political and humanitarian issues that the media barely focuses on or suppresses.

In 1897, Austrian revisionist Jew Theodore Herzl convened with other statesmen to form the first Zionist Congress in Basel called Die Welt. Notable among the Zionist agenda was to relocate millions of Jews into a colony for "God's people" where the Jews could live peacefully and without persecution. Initially he attempted to persuade the Ottoman Sultan to relinquish Palestine, but when that failed, he attempted to convince delegates of Ethiopia, Uganda, and Madagascar to accept the Jews. Herzl, as if by foresight, envisioned that following an international incident against Jews, nations would quickly respond by offering them reparations and indemnities.

Following the events of World War I, the League of Nations approved the British Mandate of Palestine with the intent of creating a "national home for the Jewish people." Thus on November 2, 1917, the Balfour Declaration was decreed ; with the express intent of partioning the dissolved Ottoman Empire's territory of Palestine into two factions - one for the native Arabs and one for Jews. The Arabs sensed danger in November 1918 at the parade marking the first anniversary of the Balfour Declaration. The Muslim-Christian Association protested the carrying of new 'white and blue banners with two inverted triangles in the middle'. They drew the attention of the authorities to the serious consequences of any political implications in raising the banners.

Later that month, on the first anniversary of the occupation of Jaffa by the British, the Muslim-Christian Association sent a lengthy memorandum and petition to the military governor protesting once more the Zionist intrusion

In 1947, the United Nations approved the partition of the Mandate of Palestine into two states, one Jewish and one Arab. The Arab League rejected the plan, but on May 14, 1948, Israel declared its independence. The new country's victory in the subsequent Arab-Israeli War expanded the borders of the Jewish state beyond those in the UN Partition Plan. Following subsequent settlement, hundreds of thousands of Palestians were expelled from their ancestral lands, leaving all their property, land, and memories behind them. Still to this day, there are over 500, 000 Palestinians that are considered refugees - living in mobile shacks and refugee camps supported only by humanitarian groups. It is believed that everyday four Palestinians die due to periodic Israeli missile, tank and weapon fire - with most of the corpses and autopsies being treated as "classified" by the Israelis.

From WWII onward, it is estimated that the tiny nation has received more than 140 Billion U.S. dollars, and receives 3 billion annually (more than a fifth of the U.S. foreign aid) - even though it is one of the wealthiest middle eastern nations. This insidious financing has led many to call it the "Israeli Lobby."

Jews against Zionism Jews against Zionism 2

 * According to the Jewish Talmud, after God banished the Ancient Israelites from their safe haven, He commanded them to never return. Thus as indicated above, many conservative and "by the book" Jews opposed the settlement of Jews on May 14, 1948 in Palestine and still fervently oppose the settlement ; both in the U.S. and Israel.
