You know when you have the feeling that you long to be held in someone's arms.  Long to be close for just a minute, long to be with them wherever they are.  I ache to be close to someone.

Men are strange creatures they have to be taught how to do certain things in life such as be romantic.  They never show you how "soft" they can be.  Men don't want to hold you or walk hand in hand down the street.  Maybe it isn't that they don't want to maybe they just need to learn. 

But what if there is distance between you, like um 300 odd miles?  Then you learn to cope alone with your thoughts that spin around your head like a pair of dirty socks in the washing machine.  You think banal thoughts that fill your day with either happiness or dread.  You learn not to listen to those who are less fortunate than you or when you do listen you refuse to advise.  For what good are you sat alone waiting for someone who may never appear?
