So today I work, and yeah it sucked shit like usual. I work at a finishing mill, we make tongue and groove flooring and panelling, as well as a whole other sort of boards. I am the production cordinator. That means I am in charge of setting the crew up for the run for that day, organizing the wood, being consistent with the infeed and outfeed, it really is to much to explain. I do basically everything, but it helps that I know how to run, and do every job in that place. I know those jobs like the back of my hand, it's convienent, but a curse.
But yeah we ran SPF 1x6 Select Panelling today, and well the customer wanted half packs, which means instead of 360 boards in a bundle, it was only 180 boards in a bundle. Well when you're the only person that can do that job, and go as fast as the boards, it's possible, but you sure are pooped by the end of the day. It gets frustrating and points of the day, but what can you do, when you're boss is a complete dick.
We are now unionized did you kow that? the workers went against the company and voted in the union can you believe that, that's funking crazy!
