Seeding is simply allowing the file you downloaded to upload. On bitcomet this is represented by a reddish-orange arrow pointing up. You should seed atleast a 1:1 ratio, meaning seed the amount you take. You can tell how much you have seeded by highlighting a task then in the lower box of the window highlight statistics and scroll down to the bottom and it shows you your total upload count for a task. You can also seed a stop task, this is represented by a green circle, but at a much slower rate, usually 1 - 2 kbs. As long as you have the "enable long-time seeding" box checked in the <options>, <advanced> menu.
