Sean William Scott is considering an edgy comedy called Big Brother. Nope, it's not a theatrical adaptation of the popular TV show. Before reality television co-opted the name, Big Brother was synonymous with a program that paired errant teens with volunteers willing to help them find their way.
That'll be the subject of this movie, the latest from Girl Next Door director Luke Greenfield according to Production Weekly. It's focused on a selfish businessman (who'd be played by Scott) who is forced to join the Big Brother program and ends up paired with a tough teenager. At first they hate each other, but after awhile they develop a twisted father/son relationship when Sean William Scott's character starts teaching the kid some of his dishonest business practices.
Sound familiar? That's because it's a lot like the plot of Matchstick Men mixed with a dash of The Mighty Ducks. I have a hard time seeing Sean William Scott as either Nic Cage or Emilio Estevez.
Sean is embarking on a whole new chapter in his career, one where he life coaches kids. Before he can start this movie, he has to finish work on Gary the Tennis Coach, a film which has him teaching kids competitive tennis.
