Drew Barrymore's production company Flower Films is producing a movie called He Loves Me for Warner Bros., and Drew has committed herself to play the lead in it. Her decision comes on the heels of signing a new first-look deal with the WB.
The project has been floating around as a spec script since December when Warners bought it from Joyce Brotman. Now that they have a star, Ted Tally has been hired to write a new draft of the script. Tally's no slouch, he's responsible for the 1991 adaptation of Silence of the Lambs.
What's it about? Tally describes it to Variety as a "taut, sexy, thriller about contemporary infidelity, which strongly questions the proposition that what you don't know won't hurt you." Sounds like something he pulled out of the J. Peterman Catalogue doesn't it?
The next place you can see Drew is opposite Eric Bana in Lucky You and opposite Hugh Grant in the rom-com Music & Lyrics By.
