did you allow bitcomet pass thru your firewall, because the yellow light mean one firewall whatever block your connection it can from your security software, your router or wherever.

basicly your problem is the ip isnt allowed to connect to your computer. you can fix that but you need to log on to your router and add the stuff you need such as Upnp and bitcomet.....

our if you dont have a router, you need to add it to your pc firewall.

Go to [url]www.portforward.com[/url] and follow the instructions there. you will have to configure the router everytime you switch it off and then switch it on.

You must configure every firewall, not just the one in your router. Blocked port == unconfigured firewall.

Options->Advanced->Connection.... check all boxes but not the one that says "server mode..." then your light will be green, it works for me in win xp, hope it works for you too ;)

in XP control panel select firewall setting and allow exception on bit comet client and listen port in my case is 9571. I also allow emule plugin and its ports. I have sample snapshot picture how to do it, but I dont know how to put it on this forum. If anyone like to get it, just drop me a note at haki@163.com
