Translate BitComet to your language
How to translate BitComet into my language?
Open BitComet->Options->Language->Edit Language File:
You will see the following dialog:
You can select any language you known as a “Reference Language” (English recommended). Also you have to select the language you want to translate into as “Target Language”. Then all you have to do is to translate the reference language into your language line by line.
Note: There is sometimes a “&Some Letter” in the language representing underlined letter which means (Ctrl+ underlined letter) as the shortcut key.
Now let me show you an example. Please see the first line (Line ID 0) in the picture above. The reference language is “&File” which will be displayed as “File” in the menu of the software. From this you can see “Ctrl+F” is the corresponding shortcut key to “File”. Now we translate “File” into the Chinese word “文件”. But in Chinese, there is not a letter “F” in the word. We can not use a “&F” in the word to represent the shortcut key. We have to add “(&F)” or “(Ctrl+F)” into the word “文件”. As a result, you will see “文件(&F)” at the end.
After translation finished, you can click “save and send” to send the translation to us. During the translation, you can click “Save” to save the work you have done on your computer which can be resumed next time.
