I HAVE 19- 23 MEG BROADBAND BUT STILL HAVE SLOW DOWNLOADS, I HAVE OPENED MY PORT ON MCAFEE FIREWALL - PORT IS 15397, BIT COMET SAYS MY LISTENING PORT IS NOT BLOCKED (GREEN LIGHT) I HAVE LOOKED THROUGH EVERY FORUM I CAN THINK OF AND DONE THINGS THAT PEOPLE HAVE SUGGESTED BUT STILL I HAVE SLOW DOWNLOADS. O2, MY ISP SAYS THAT I AM GETTING SPEEDS OF OVER 20MEG AND I HAVE DONE VARIOUS SPEED TESTS AND THEY AL VARY BETWEEN 17 MEG AND 24MEG, PLEASE HELP?

You can only download as much as people are uploading. Maybe if you upload more and everyone else who reads this uploads more, we'll all have faster downloads. =)

That is how it works. The more uploaders than downloaders will bring faster speeds per torrent. So when you download leave your program running for at least 1 hour or so so others can grab the torrent as well.

check the ammount of seeds... usually torrents with 20-50 seeds will be slower than torrents that have 200+ seeders... also remember, check your trackers... they might not be logging in... but to tell you the truth.. it can be a bunch of things... like your ISP putting a limit on your torrent download.

Still on that eternal Search for that perfect torrent.

The all below transferred opinions are correct. Not all are honest in the system of p2p, but there are torrents at which speed 0 - 1 Kb/s already considered good.

hmmm i think i get it now...da higher i increase my max upload da faster my download will b?...and oso if i add a bunch of files to share like music and movies and wha not and ppl upload dat shit off me will it oso increase my download speed? everybody go download perfectworld so my speed oso increases plz xP...naw im kiddin i prolly am assed bkward and dun rele get it but me still gonna try xD
