You have to use program to convert it first before burn to CD/DVD.

There's a program called ConverXtoDVD. That will put your MKVs on DVD. :)

Sorry typo. It's ConvertXtoDvd.

NeroVision can encode most mkv files to dvd. Just enable "all files" when searching for video files, however these high resolution files will need a fast computer to encode efficiently.

Also, I believe you made an err in your post, because I don't think you were trying to "burn" the files, because any disc burning software can burn any type of files, but very few dvd players will support playback of these files.

"Burning" is very different then "Encoding"

Thank you all for your replies. Yes, I did mean "Encoding". So, if I use Nero to encode MKV files and then select all files when ready to burn, all will be well?

Thanks again for the input.
