yes but i also just did steps 1-5 as suggested on {speed up bitcomet} im using version 1.02 with vista

whats the point in havin your listen port open/green i had mine on yellow for 3months and was dl at 200-550kb/s NOW since ive managed to get it green im lucky if my downloads hit 70kb/s. so can someone please explain this to me, everyone told me its better to have your listen port open/green but i have found that not to be the case its worse. WHY?
Check your download configuration setting, if its not that it could be your port might be blocked

My LL.Port is open my configurations are all right!I've eaven taken my PC to a special tehnique gye...and my Bit Comet was Extra but just for a few days and now..?Are you amagening that i'm downloadnig with the "BIGEST SPEED" 1kb/sec....mmm yes my reaction was the same...Thats Total BULLSHITS im sry 4 the words but ...this is verry nasty;[If some one can help me some way i'll be very glad 10x :)

I'm not sure what guide you followed, but this forum is quite frankly full of bad advice.

You must also have an open listening port. If not, you will never achieve your potential speeds.
