I try and pertect myself online by using encryption, when ever I wish to download/seed anything.
I do this by using ether Torrentfreedom and/or BTGuard.
BTGuard states BitComet is not fully compatible with there proxy, so if I wish to use BTGuard I have to use uTorrent instead.
I still find people who don't use encryption when downloading/seeding, ISP's keep logs and many other sites do the same.
Safety first, be a little paranoid.
