firewall problem

default TCP/IP limit is 10 , so after i change it into 200 then restart my windows firewall wont run , i cant connect into internet couse firewall close or off automaticlly , so i repair my windows xp SP2 n after repearing is done everything is work properly , i just got problem when i change tcp/ip limit , anyone can help me please? why its happen?

Change error

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers

delete tcpip.sys

rename tcpip.sys.ORIGINAL to tcpip.sys

restart your PC

Remember that if you're running peer guardian ip blocker you will get a grey status light because... well that sort of just explained itself. LOL! Anyways, if you're using a dsl modem, you might just be a victim of the proprietary firewall inside the MODEM not your pc!! This can be altered however by going into the modems settings. Also, when looking at your own firewall, i've always went and made my own exceptions by enabling the same port number as in my BitComet option panel. BOTH TCP and UDP! If none or all of these steps don't fix your problem, then it's your isp's fault! Hope this helps!!:-)

You guys are wasting your time trying to mess with the limit. Just configure BitComet to work around the limit and you'll save yourselves a load of trouble.

MS will reset the limit on you and continue to update the tcp/ip stack security. If you're running Vista don't even think about trying to mess with system files.
