Internet hang after changing half-open limit

Using BT 1.03 version , change the half-open limits to 300 and the PC cannot log in to internet anymore.Everything is stuck , no connection , can someone helps ?

Current Window OS = XP , can explain if I need to re format my PC again ???

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers

find tcpip.sys,delete it.

rename tcpip.sys.original to tcpip.sys

or

reinstall WindowsXP-KB951748-x86-CHS.exe

change again.

Thanks for the advice , I have sent to shop to re-format the drives.

This is the 2nd time on this error when I change the settings.

I swear i will never change the half open settings again.

before you change the half open settings ,

back-up C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\tcpip.sys.

if change error, recover tcpip.sys.

Altering your system files is risky business, and even if it doesn't cause you problems, it still won't help your torrents speed.

Also, when restoring your tcpip.sys file, you must first disable Windows File Protection, or restart in safe mode to restore the file.
