The Following Information is Needed to help you

 

1. Your Version of BitComet

2. Your version of Windows and some basic info about your computer

3. Do you use a Router, What model, and have you properly forwarded your listening port

 

 

If your asking a question about a specific torrent or files you downloaded, then be sure to list the full torrents name, as well as the full file names and extensions

 

 

For Speed related issues, please run several speedtests from a site like (speedtest.net), making sure no other computers are using your internet connection, and all programs are closed, including bitcomet. Then post the results, along with the settings your currently using, and we will review, and offer suggestions to improve your performance.

i am using bitcomet 1.03

window xp with service pack 3 and im using a belkin wireless router. my listening port is yellow but i had it green for the last 3 days and my speeds were ok. how do i get it back to green again. i did it once but it was like 3am and i dont remeber or can i find the post that explained it. any help would be great

Hey! j use BitComet 1,03. Tryed several times to download "[D]The Wild Bunch (1969) DVDRip (SiRiUs sHaRe)" especially after so many good comments. But never rich longer then 0.5 % down. Tried with an other torrent "The Wild Bunch (1969) (William Holden, Ernest Borgnine)". Riched to 4% down. In both occasion it says that the "parametri" (it's in italian j guess the english translation could be "parameter"?) are wrong. J have Windows X3. Don't know about Router. Works fine with other downloadings. Thanks in advance and please let me know.

The extensions are 1.37 Mb for the first torrent and 885.15 for the second. By the way j saw the preview of the second torrent wich is excellent!!

Hola new to this forum. I have been downloading for a couple of months now. I really have had little problems I use bitcomet and KMplayer to play.

However this one is new to me. I downloaded the new movive Righteous kill and it will not play. All I get is a message showing all binary numbers.

I updated my kmplayer and I have a bitunlocker but nothing seems to work..any suggestions>

Hi I have Windows Vista, Bitcomet 1.03, ADSL modem (no router) and the Windows firewall no virus scan yet (but will be putting on AVG Free version.)

Computer is a laptop, 2 gig Ram and 250gig hard drive. Dual core pentium.

Any help on how to get the listening port to green would be greatly appreciated. cheers.

HI. ROADRUNNER HERE. I ALSO RUN WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM BUT I USE A ROUTER. BUT ALL I KNOW IS YOU NEED TO OPEN BITCOMET AND CLICK UP TOP ON 0PTIONS,THEN CLICK ON CONNECTION,THEN CLICK ON CHOOOSE RANDOM PORT AND THEN CLICK OK. THIS WILL SHEARCH FOR A OPEN PORT AT RANDOM FOR YOU. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DO THIS PROCESS A FEW TIMES UNTIL YOUR PORT GOES GREEN. JUST KEEP DOING THIS UNTIL YOUR LISTENING PORT IS GREEN. BE PATIENT. HOPE THIS HELPS.

HI. I AM RUNNING BITCOMT 1.01 AS 1.02-1.04 HAVE NOT WORKED FOR ME. I AM OPERATING WINDOWS VISTA SP1 AND MY PROCESSER IS 1.7 GHZ. I HAVE 4G'S OF RAM AS WELL.

I HAVE TRIED DOWNLOADING MOVIES AND SUCH WITH 1.02-1.04 AND ALL I GET WHEN I CLICK ON DOWNLOAD WITH BITCOMET IS TORRENT FILE DOWNLOAD FAILED EVERYTIME. WHEN I RE-INSTALL 1.01, I HAVE NO PROBLEMS DOWNLOADING THE SAME TORRENTS. PLEASE HELP. THANK YOU.

P.S. I ALSO RUN A D-LINK "N" ROUTER WITH A "N" USB ADAPTER.

HELP!!! I have no sound.

1: just downloaded bitcomet 1.04

2: Windows vista home premium

AMD Turion(tm) 64 x2 Mobile Technology TL-62

4.00 GB RAM

NVIDIA MCP67M

Also I am using a My Book (western Digitial) 500GB eternal hardrive.

I have my bitcomet and WinRar istalled on my eternal hardrive along with my bit torrent.

My problem is that I downloaded Mugen 100% hardcore from the wtorrent.com sit, but when I try to play it I have no sound. Can someone please halp me?

Oh, Forgot that my computer is an HP pavilion laptop and I'm using the WiFi to connect and running a norton 360 firewall and security.
