The Following Information is Needed to help you

1. Your Version of BitComet

2. Your version of Windows and some basic info about your computer

3. Do you use a Router, What model, and have you properly forwarded your listening port

If your asking a question about a specific torrent or files you downloaded, then be sure to list the full torrents name, as well as the full file names and extensions

For Speed related issues, please run several speedtests from a site like (speedtest.net), making sure no other computers are using your internet connection, and all programs are closed, including bitcomet. Then post the results, along with the settings your currently using, and we will review, and offer suggestions to improve your performance.

version = 1.04

windows = vista, home premium. 1gig ram, 80 gig HD, and 1.87 ghz centrino processor.

The problem I'm having is that I generally use 2 turret clients, but now that I got vr.104 when I try to start bitcomet the other client (bitlord) starts up instead.

How can I fix this? Other than uninstalling either of the clients, since I need both.

Hi I am using bitcomet 1.04

I am running it on a HP Pavillion AMD Turion TL-60 64 x 2

2.00 GHz with 3 G's Ram

2700HG-E Gateway router

and I suspect I haven't you properly forwarded my listening port because I'm not sure how to...I see it in my options on Bitcomet but don't know it's windows counterpart location on my laptop...Anyways I have an orange/amber light and I've set up for Bitcomet to come through my firewall-I've even turned my firewall off as well as Norton's internet security one as well ..all to no avail...can't get fasterr than 50kbs's on any download....can't sign in either even though I enter correct user name and password...can you help? Thanks in advance....Mickey theMuse

Bitcomet 1.04, Windows Vista, Pavilion Desktop

Every time I try to download a file a Windows message appears telling me I haven't downloaded the latest version of Bitcomet and giving me the option to download Bitcomet or cancel - since I have already downloaded the latest version a dozen times, that doesn't help - and "cancel" just closes the message - either way I can't download files. This is a new problem - solution???

Ok, So I Just downloaded BitComet 1.05 and I've never used it, was recomended by a friend. And I Have no idea what 2 do. I've only downloaded then signed up, tried searching for movies to download but all i got is movie info. HELP! I Think I Need Step by step instructions.

If you want to download movies just double click on one of the torrents which are found on the left like wtorrent and when the next page opens up just incert the title of the movie you are after and the page will change with different tiles and choose the one you want. Another thing to look for is double click on comments which will give you an idea about the picture, such whether its a good copy, whether the sound is good or bad or in general whether it is worth down loading the movie.

not much but hope it will help
