So my country has adopted a file sharing ban. Anyone DLing copyrighted materials is to be charged $500, and $20k for uploading.
Yet another reason for me to hate my country.
Seriously.
Robbing the poor to give to the rich is the official way of my
government and every facet of its works all the way down until you get
to the welfare system, which doesn't give people enough to live without
criminal activity. I'd seriously get behind an anarchist movement if I
could be relatively sure Canada would fall. Line all those fuckers up
against the wall and let loose. Ratatatatat, motherfuckers.
It's
the claim of socialism that pisses me off the most. No one should be
allowed to get away with that kind of hypocrisy. Big companies fuck
over the little guy illegally on a daily basis while big government seeks
ways to make it legal.
The socialized medicine isn't enough by far. Any non barbaric country has that by now, am I right? We need true socialism. We need free food for all and universal sharing of art forms.
What artist wants less people to perceive their work? None of them. This is all the work of the shit flies. The lawyers, the managers, the bureaucrats, all the worthless scumsuckers who get fat sucking the actual artist communities dry. You know what? Fuck those people. Cut THEM out, make them get real jobs digging ditches or cooking food. Then the artists will have plenty without going after the poor who want to share in modern culture.
I personally can't afford to go to movies at all at current prices. Even a rental would cut into my already sparse food budget. I have no cash for albums, no tv, nothing but this here computer. This makes me unworthy of seeing a movie once in a while? This should mean I get to watch a whole lot of nothing and listen to public domain xmas songs year round?
How about.... FUCK you Canada. I'll DL what I want to, and if you try to sue me for it I won't even show up. How's that? You like that? Good.
