I'm seeking help from them to get rid of viruses on my comp. but they want me to uninstall it.

Is there any way to do so without deleting all my downloaded files?

BitComet isn't malware, so I suspect your talking to someone that doesn't even know what bitcomet is.

But to answer your question, uninstalling bitcomet won't effect your downloaded files.
