hello there,hows the downloading goin,slow?i no,its like watchin paint dry,but the plus is,ya can get a glimpse of some soon ta b released films,an c if all the media hype is right,ive bin really enjoyin some of the movies,jus wanna no if anyone can tell me,how ta speed it up?cheers geetarman1971

I have an average speed of 150 - 300 KB/S it's ok but BitComet is bullshit. It tells me to register and log in to be able to download faster, I did it and what do I read now? "Buy a special membership and you can download faster" WHAT THE FUCK? FUCK YOU! I wont pay for this bullshit. There are a lot of other Torrent apps out there. I am glad that I have a Mac and I use TomatoTorrent on my Mac it's 100% free and you get FULL Speed without any registerung bullshit. Just need to download a fucking game on windows thats why I am using BitComet. Fuck this shit.

I get 2300KB/s sometimes, depends on how many people are seeding. I never paid for BitComet, It just works fine, if you know how to tune it right. (ie: TCP/IP setting for XP and max global upload to your actual upstream and ofcourse have an open listen port (green lights!) else it will suck.

i can never get green light... i'm always yellow (blocked) and i have no idea how to fix it.

my avg. download speed is around 40-50... fastest i've ever done was like 460kB/s and it was only ONCE... on an album with a bunch of seeders... but thats it... right now... i'm downloading at 44kb/s... about 20kb/s on both files... how can i make it faster?!?!

Hello Dears.

I use the listen Port# 15345 for both TCP & UDP.

Also make sure that this port is in your firewall's exception list and firewall is allowing exceptions.

I hope you'll be able to get Green Light...

I set the listen port to 15345 on Bitcomet, but i don't know if thats what you mean by TCP or UDP...

Also, i told set my firewall setting to allow BitComet to connect to internet, but i'm still yellow light (blocked)... i have no idea what to do.
