HOLLYWOOD - Paris Hilton's mother Kathy wants fans of her daughter to learn from the 45 day jail sentence handed to the socialite for violating her probation by driving with a suspended license earlier this month.
In a statement read out by family friend and TV anchor Barbara Walters on The View this morning, Kathy Hilton expressed her wish for something good to come from her daughter's predicament.
Her statement, read by the veteran host, said: "We can only hope that something positive will come from this. Hopefully, young people who look up to people like Paris will learn from this."
