In case you’ve been living in some hermit shack in the woods, Michael Moore wants you to know his latest film, SiCKO opens this weekend in theaters everywhere. The health care expose already been scandalized about as many ways as Moore can legally, and a few ways illegally, but the filmmaker still isn’t certain you’re aware his movie is coming out.
To that end, the trailer for SiCKO will be projected in prominent metropolitan areas to remind you to see the film. Presented with full sound and subtitles, the trailers will display tonight from sundown until 1:00am.
These locations haven’t been randomly selected – after all, this is Michael Moore we’re talking about. Reinforcing the idea that everything the filmmaker does is strategically set up to promote his film (the good or the bad), the projection locations are located near leading HMOs, insurance companies, and hospitals in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and Oakland.
