Adriano Moraes (My all time favorite)
Adriano
Adriano was born in Brazil he always was around horses and bulls growing up however , he only saw a rodeo for the first time when he was 16 years old, at 17 a friend
invited him to go mounting in some rodeos. in the following year Adriano was already taking part in smaller professional rodeos. His first rodeo was in February 1988, in Domelia-sp where he wasn't qualified for not knowing the rules, however he did not fall from the bull, At his third rodeo he got second place and made nine times more money than he used to make working as a tractor driver on the farm his father managed. he was a Sophomore in high school, he decided to quit working and studying and go on with rodeos.
In 1995 the city of Quintana - sp honored Adriano with the opening of a rodeo arena named after him.
In the year of 1991 when Adriano was already known for his perseverance and prizes, he was invited by a world champion Charles Sampson to participate in rodeos in the United States. He started the year of 1992 with the aim of going to the United States, in the same year, he won Brazilian Championship and he was ready to go to the USA, as he arrived in the Cowboy's land, he was sure he could ride bulls anywhere in the world, getting Champion titles in one of the most famous rodeos in the USA. He came back to Brazil in March 1993 aiming at getting a sponsor to continue living in the USA.
In 1993 Brazil got his first international rodeo in Barretos through Adriano, in November 1993 Adriano got his second Brazilian championship and his first sponsor (Frigorifico Anglo) for 1994. Adriano international career was started. Adriano won three of the best titles, among others.
