How to increase download spped using a modem, huawei e220??

I have been using a huawei modem for downloading torrents, but most of the time my download rate is 1kbps only. can somebody, "please", tell me how can i improve BC download rates.

*vá la em "options>connection"

Em "global max DOWNLOAD rate" coloque "Unlimited" e em "global max UPLOAD rate" coloque "10kB/s".

*Vá em "options>TCP/IP limit" em "new half-open limit(10-200) coloque "200" and "apply".

Download the latest version "1.04"

i am using the huewai modem for downloading and i am also using bitcomet version 1.04 when i first started downloading i was only downloading at 1-25kbps that was until the more i downloaded the quicker the downloads got so just get on with it for the moment and soon it will download quicker
