when i click a torrent files link, pops up an error window like this:

Windows cannot find 'C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Low\Content.IE5\QSVMQLZ5\20081005_4c61d2a0f45af400f65fMdL6XDG5hhVH[1].torrent

Make sure you typed the name correctly, and try again.

How can i handle it?

Hi Paul, use explorer shell like it was intended or commonly known as windows explorer as it is in a temporary location there is a good chance that your computer wouldnt go looking for a torrent file in temporary location by looking at the url supplied. manualy browse for this file and run from inside the shell enviroment check your config and tell your computer to use the program of your choice in the right enviroment the url should work or plan B Have you ran any maintenance software

that could have deleted part of the torrent and does the torrent still exist. give us a visit good luck

Dear tbone, very thank u!

i had related the .torrent files and Bitcomet.

i dont run any maintenance softwares. My anti-virus software is Kaspersky,i checked its preference, and i think this problem is nothing to do with it.

Have you tried dragging the link to the torrent file and drop directly to the BC floating window?

tianma414 (paul) Sun Oct 12, 08 08:34 PM

It's not work. I save the torrent file on my computer's desktop, then double click, but still error prompt, says that 'windows cannot find files C:\..........'.

Now, i have to open the torrent files from BC. The ONLY work way.

I suppose this problem does not caused by IE. Are you using, or have you used and uninstall any other client? I think it's missing the file association to the program. But since you've already checked that in BC > options > integration .....

I simply have to sit in front of your PC to help you out.

hehe~~, come on

i am now using BC 1.04. i remember first, i directly update from BC 1.00, there are this problem, so i remove BC and reinstall it.

Maybe here i do something wrong. I'll remove BC completely, and reinstall again. I hope it'll be work.

thx, beautifoolgirl, good name again, lol:)
