Kim had told me she had some news for
me.I had to go to meet her and find out what it was about.
When I got
there,the door was opened,so I got in and went straight to her room.She was
writing in her journal and she didn't even see me come in.
‘Hy Kim!I
got here as fast as I could.I had to go to the school and do some shopping
and..'
‘It's OK.You
shouldn't have hurried.'
‘Well...you
told me you had some news.So?What is it?'
‘It's about
what happened today..about what I've learned.'
‘Everyday
you learn something new.What's so special?'
‘Today I
went to a meeting where the subject was about the world we live in today.'
‘That's
interesting.Who was there?'
‘Hmm..all
kinds of people.We had the chance to see how people of different ages think
about this subject.We all agree that the new technology helps us a lot,even if
the older persons don't know how to use it.Then we got to the way the teenagers
dress.'
‘Yes...I
know.Our parents don't approve with that at all.'
‘Here comes
the best part.We also talked about tha way that feelings don't matter
anymore,about the way we say ‘I love you' or ‘I hate you' so easily,without
knowing the true meaning of these words.Our moral values are forgotten and
replaced with the desire of being famous and having more and more moneyWhere
will this take us?We should ask ourselfes what is more important:having money
or having feelings?'
‘I remember
one quote from a movie:'To feel...it's as vital as air..'.That's so true...But
not too many people think like this.Unfortunately,we can't change everyone
around us.'
‘No...We
can't.But we can stick to our believes and we can act as we feel,not as other
people do or tell us to do.'

most important thing:not to be influenced by others.'
The talk I
had with Kim made me realize that the world we live in is not perfect,but we
can make it better if we just stick to our good believes..
