I would like to report an incident in which I received a very threatening email...from someone within Bitcomet... Does this belong on this page??

HI. this is the first time i've joined a forum for bit comet. i do hope someone could help me with my problem. i've been downloading quite sometime now and my download speed has never gone beyond 50 kb/s. what should i do to increase it to 100 and above?

Running and using the ff:

bit comet 1.00

windows xp prof. v.2002

celeron 1.7 GHz

480mb mem

note: Even when i was upgrading my bit comet to diffrent versions, i was experiencing the same problem. i settled with 1.00 coz it's mor stable. thanks

If can only download at 50 kb/s then that is maximum speed you will download at

downloads are restricted by the connection available and also internet useage if busy then downloads etc slow down

if you want faster connection you need to enquire to service provider to see if they can provide faster connection

I would really like to see that happen - there is so much Spam floating around and the percentage of unrelated posts is rising all the time - don't you think you should rake through that a bit more often a lot more thoroughly?

REALLY, THE WORST SPAM I HAVE SEEN IS PASSWORDED TORRENTS... LEADING TO THE SAME OLD CRAP SITES. WANTING TO LINK YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND EMAIL ADRESS TO TORRENTS YOUVE DOWNLOADED. CAN ANYBODY EXPLAIN HOW FEDERAL INDICTMENTS BASED ON CONFIRMED INFORMATION, CAN BE UNHEALTHY FOR YOUR BOOTY HOLE OVER A TWELVE TO THIRTY SIX MONTH PERIOD OF INCARCERATION. OH YEA, AND MAKE UP SOMETHING GOOD AND HOPE THEY DONT FIND OUT YOU WERE NOT GEEKING TORRENTZ, CAUSE THEY MIGHT NICK NAME YOU MOUSE AND BEND YOU OVER MATRIX STYLE. OR GET IT STREET FIGHTER STYLE AND GIVE YOU THE KEN/RYU ALL YOUUU CAN. MY POINT IS DONT GIVE THEM CRAP. POST APROPRIATE COMMENT (PASSWORD NEEDED) AFTER THEY HAVE WASTED YOUR TIME BASED ON HOW BAD YOU WANTED THE TORRENT VS HOW LONG YOU WAITED ON THE TORRENT. I have been a client for a very long time but i did not know that this side really existed and Bitcomet had been sending me messages to upgrade, upgrade... I was using V 0.62 and i upgraded to V 1.05 finally in Nov.08... I was in the 19,000 range just ready to turn to colonel, but when i transferred i was still a lt.colonel... When I upgraded I found that I had been demoted to a recruit and had lost my status and points all together... PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE, COULD SOMEONE TELL ME WHY.

I did not change my nic or password... now i am captain waiting to turn major and i worked damn hard for both my individual status'.

If you cannot help me please tell me who can and the proper channels as I have tried everything, posting, email, forums, etc etc etc.

Maybe it does not seem like a biggy to you but it sure and heck is to me...

Right now I am in the upper 8,000 then include my 19,000 and that would put me near a 3rd Colonel...

I have always given Bitcomet my most imperative attention to people here and on the outside...

I think and wish that I would like to think that I would be treated the same here on the inside...

I promote Bitcomet on every place that I can call my own...

I could go on but I am sure that you get the gest of my dilemma...

Please give me back my old individual status and include my present status as i have worked hard for both of them...

hello evry one i downloaded the movie VALKYRIE with name Valkyrie DVDRIP-aXXO..'

later wen i tried to open it i got a msg that it requires XVOD Decoder to play it..

i found out that it was a spam...

it directed me to fileview.torrentsu.com and asked me to pay 7.5 $
