I can't figure out why anyone would watch Entertainment Tonight but damn if they don't get their hands on the good trailers before the rest of us. Last night they debuted a tiny clip from the new Terminator: Salvation trailer, which will run before The Day the Earth Stood Still next weekend. It's a short clip, but it shows way, way more of the movie than we've seen thus far-- which, you'll remember, is pretty much nothing.
I'm baffled by the appearance of what appears to be a Transformer, but Christian Bale looks great with the short haircut, the effects are impressive, and the video quality is pretty great compared to what you usually get from YouTube. I'll leave it to the Terminator experts to figure out all the clues in the video; check it out below to see for yourselves.
