I'm running vista! Besides loosing ALL my downloads which I'm PISSED OFF with ive logged on today after a shutdown last night to COMPLETEmy downloads only to find that this SHOCKING NEW VERSION has deleted my partially downloads!! The only way i could restore them is to FINDthe originally torrent again to restore my download to where it was left off. U HAVE SERIOUSLY GOT TO BE JOKING!!!

As a user for this site it would be KINDLY APPRECIATED with the amount of unanswered questions that ive noticed from other USERS requesting feedback for their problems over a long period of time including the GENERAL FORUM that i and many others have posted to receive a RESPONSE! So if ANYONE has got and EXPLANATION for our troubles PLEASE HELP!

alright, so I downloaded the new version from v.96 (i took a break from using bittorrents) and found that I had the same problem with losing all my previous downloads. So I browsed around and I noticed that there was a list of torrents in my Torrent Archive list from my older version. After clicking open directory on one of my partially completed downloads I came up to a directory screen cdrive-downloads (where I send all my completed downloads) and there happened to be all of my old torrents. So I guess the new version wiped clean the torrents in the bitcomet list but not from my comp files. Check it out and tell me if you find anything from this, or maybe I just happened to luck out. good luck

1.07 release is an absolute waste of time. After having downloads disappear I reverted back to version 1.06 - everthng is fine (apart from having to search out my torrents again)

Best advise for all - stick with 1.06 until 1.07 is fixed

peace

As an uploader of torrents, I'd like to add my 2 cents worth. I have noticed users of BitComet to come to a dead stop when they reach the end of the torrent. As an uploader I have access to see what versions of clients, IP address etc that every person is using.....everyone else is breezing through and completing the torrents I created, while BitComet users stall and stay there. At first I thought it was the user himself...but every "customer" that comes through my "lines" that is using BitComet as their client, is stalling, so there HAS to be a problem with BitComet itself and they need to fix it!!

Really, the disappearance of the downloads list was the most silly idea. I give 10 days time to fix it.
