Downloaded Movie Won't Play?

Hey,

I've been using BitComet for a while now, mainly for songs, and recently tried to download a movie. But unfortunately, while I can easily preview the film, I can find no way to watch the full thing. If I right click and select play, I just get the preview, and if I open the directory, all the files are incompatible with any of my software.

Can anyone help?

Your problem is probably because of the format of you video. A plugin stuff, but you could try using the video reader "VLC". It reads ALOT of videos formats.

And if VLC doesn't suit, try to get the format (generally, the 3 letter after the dot in the filename if you activated the option to see the extensions) and search info about that format, or ask help to people, or to me...

OK DO YOU NO WHAT FORMAT IT IS IN? CHANCES ARE YOU NEED A NEW CODEC YOU MIGHT NEED TO DOWNLOAD SOMETHING LIKE K-LITE CODEC IT WILL ALOW YOU TO PLAY MOST FORMATS.AND YOU MIGHT NEED WINWAR TO DECOMPRESS THE MOVIE IF YOU GOT THOSE THEN YOU ARE SET IF YOU ALREADY GOT THOSE THEN THERE IS A BIGGER PROBLEM THAT I DONT KNOW

This will get you the Combined Community Codec Pack, which is what most editors at animemusicvideos.org, use and recommend.

I used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass.

Go to www.videolan.org and download VLC Media Player. You will see the latest version on the right hand side of the page. This media player does not require any codecs. It plays any kind of media file. Trust me, i've been using it for months and never used any other software since discovering it.

After you have downloaded ur movie just right click on it and select "Open directory"and then right click on ur movie file and select "Play with VLC Media Player" and thats it, You're done.

And yes, if u dont want ur movie or music or sound files icons to change then dont forget to uncheck "Associate with media files" while ur installing ur VLC.

i have been downloading movies for a while and i find you wont go wrong with k-lite codec pack and mpcstar player

you shoud use K-lite codec pack.

even with windows media player...DIVX can fix a lot of the format troubles you might be having

louis, has these replies been of any use? They should help you quite a bit, if you do still have errors, it may just be that the torrent is fake, maybe you can try well known torrent uploaders like aXXo, KLAXXON, FXG and FXM.
