Hi. After being a member of bitcomet for 5 months I always had around 1000 kb/s yes 1000 but now the last 2 days everything changed. I can't get over the 100 kb/s and it takes 5 min. till it starts downloading. I know for sure I'm not over my internet limit so I don't know what is going on.

more details what kind of connection u have? from data u just wrpte i guess u must have optical fibre as most of people dont go over 400kbs max. But consider that it is all about the torrent u download. Is P2P = all about sharing no steady speed

Just read about your download speed. Same problem I have, just started in the last 2 day's, i'm on optic fibre with no download limit, and normally top speed is 1000kb/s, even with multiple downloads.

I tried to DL a mp3 with over 2000 seeders and 1000 leechers and my speed it still slowed down to 54kb/s

I just checked my "half open limit" and after updating my XP home OS TO "Windows XP (5.1.2600)", it reports, " Current OS is not supported to be modified, and "TCPIP VERSION 5.1.2600.5625"

I'm guessing maybe this could be the problem, but im not 100% sure.

Is anyone can help i would be much obliged.

DL the newest Bitcomet, got to...tools ,options ... patch your TCP/IP limit increasing the half open limit..(mine was increased to 200) ( remember to create a back up safe point first) ..seemed to work for me.

Remember all is at your own risk, create a back up first.
