how do you avoid detection from bpi and/or your isp
i wish to know this too
as far as i now agencies like this one does not care about small fishes but people wo after downloading stuff burn them and sell later on.
had my wrist slapped by BPI (agency who deal with copyright theft) and virgin my ISPwas sent a letter warning me of consequences if i continue to download they even quoted details of a particular download if you hear of any means that we can use to protect ourselves i would very much appreciate a nod cheers. torrentreactor.net will sell you a isp from another county for like 75 U.S. dollars that have no laws to this affect.....Villian
i just found out the method that my professor used to do:
1.create virtual machine on externall hdd
2. download files using that virtual machine
3. if someone is going to come over to check ur pc they won't find anything on it(no logs, cache, even mac adress will be different) but remembr to hid this hdd
4. than they will have no evidence on u or assume someone steals ur signal
5. THEY WILL NEEEEVER CATCH U!
Change your ISP. I know that Orange internet dont do this. Maybe some others dont to....
PeerGuardian2 will prevent connections with IP addresses known to be hostile to p2p users.
