Files are on my desktop

They have been there for the longest, but I now want them gone. Will this mess my bitcomet up? The scripts, share, and torrent folders, and a few other. There are also 2 or 3 XML files. What can I do to get rid of them? Can I just delete them?

Don't take my word for this, but i don't THINK you need it, but if you do decide to delete the files, make a backup copy of all the files you're going to delete before deleting them. That's really the only good advice i can give you at the moment.

if your seeding the files what are in the folders then yes it will mess bitcomet up .unless you have made a copy from an original folder and moved them to your desktop as i do, to work on them then yes it will be safe to remove them but if your unsure then do as BlinkNdSmash has said.
