Help plz. Cant import task
Size: Large, Medium, Small Wed Dec 24, 08 05:36 AM | Category: My Postbar

After updating vista and re-starting the PC, all tasks disappear luckily at that time I imported a back up file,

unfortunately another update for the vista, returned the tasks I had before, and every time I try to import I get a massage "Task existed import Fail"

farther more every time I delete or add files, the same old tasks reappear and all new tasks disappear.

Vista updated should not have anything to do with your Bitcomet data.

Do this: Open Bitcomet, then open explorer and browse to "C:\Program Files\BitComet\torrents".

Double-left-click one of the .xml files. It should open in either notepad or xml editor. On the first couble of lines, there should be a line with "SaveLocation=" and a path. If this line is not in the top of the file, the torrent has not begun downloading yet.

That lets you see where the file is supposed to be downloading to.

Two things.. 1. browse to the location (copy and paste in to explorer address bar) and check that the file exists.

and

2. Check the Bitcomet tasks list window to see if this task is loaded.

If the file doesn't exist and the task is not in the tasks window, just double-left-click the .torrent file and it shoud be added. In the popup window for the torrent download, copy the path in the .xml file, and click the "Download Later" button. The task should now be in the tasks window.

Right-click the task in the tasks window and select "Manual Hshcheck". Your torrent should then be up to date.

Hope this helps.
