2 Computers signed into same account?

Can 2 computers be signed into the same account? Does it effect anything? I know 2 computers can, Im wondering if it messes anything up or if it doesnt increase your score because it can tell your signed into 2 computers. Or if it makes you get more points or what.

I'm not really sure if you can do that, because I've never really tried that, but, i don't see any reason to be on 2 computers anyways, unless you're wanting the extra points.

HI;

I use my laptop and my desktop sometimes...especially if I will be going to the cottage in may and staying at the cottage for long periods of time and I don't find any difference. Bitcomet still knows that it is me because at the bottom left hand corner where it shows your stats, both computers say the same thing...

hope this helped!!!

I had stuff downloading on a desktop at home, but I got a laptop for college and I wanted to let the stuff download and upload on the desktop but also do the same on my laptop. I dont want to have to start over down;loading stuff thats on the desktop on my laptop. So I leave both on, I just dont want anything weird to happen. Thanks for the reply!

I am really scared now - I won't come out from behind the sofa for a week. I am a bit of a BitComet bigamist too. What if they find me out - will they chop my seeds off? ;)

You might just want to send a post into BitComet's mods just to double check, you don't want anything to go wrong.

Hi :) I do exactly the same thing... I sign in with the same account into my desktop and my laptop(s). I don't think it affects anything BitComet would worry about. My connections all fork from a single rounter (the box with the anthenna ;) so from the outside you bassically use one ip for both computers which is absolutely fine. And when I'm at school it never forbid me to download from my account even if I downloaded at home. If they saw this as a huge problem they would fix this. They can see your IP so if they would not want you to log in they would forbid it or at least make the second computer log off... It's not like you are tricking them. They can see what is happening and it's their responsibility to take action if they want to.

Nice one you cheat - I suppose that none of your so called "friends" ever upload anything to contribute to other downloaders - watch what you're saying here!
