I'm using 1.07 too. I notice that it runs a little better when I cut back the Global Upload speed to about half of what I can do, but it emule goes nuts every so often and I have to blow both away and restart to recover.

Also when I see high upload values on single tasks I may go into Properties advanced and tune download to less then default value to speed other tasks.

Once you archive a download you need to right click and delete the task or it will get downloaded again when it doesn't see the files online.

If all those other methods don't work, have you tried re-installing Version 1.07, because there could have been an error whilst installing it.

Does reinstall delete everything or not ?

I keep loosing all of my upload bandwidth. I'm on a DSL and if I reboot my DSL modem it changes IP and I get it back for a time. While BitComit seems ok with it either way I can't do anything else when it happens. I've pushed Global upload down to 20 and still had problems. Any suggestions ?

I face the same problem as the original poster too.

Uninstalling and re-installing it doesn't help.

To add to it, it sort of hangs every few seconds.

Removing the tasks doesnt help too. Once i switch off the computer, and upon re-opening bitcomet, the tasks appear despite being deleted already.

Can someone help please ? Thanks.

I can't download anything from the Torrent Collection with 1.07 - it starts downloading the actual torrent file, but never gets any further and the downward arrow stays yellow???

Apart from that everything runs perfect - before I installed the new version, I removed BitComet with the Control Panel Add/Remove Program option. That way you can be sure it's really un-installed :)

Yea, I've about had it too. I did discover that the BT remote connects seemed to be slowing me down so I started rebooting my modem/router every 15-30 mins and was about to get up to 350kB downloads for 5-10 mins per reboot. I think this thing isn't ready for prime time. Maybe I will try something else for a while.

I have noticed if I disable the connection listen port the problem goes away. Of course you don't get any remote connects either.

version 1.09 does exactly the same thing. It is probably related to my gateway and network. Unfortionately there is no way to change it. Ports are pinholes on the gateway and if anyone starts tossing a lot packets at me on a pinhole it takes out my internal network, like a DOS attack. I may have to build a better router.
