Tried Everything Listening Port Blocked plzz help

I have tried all the suggestions and nothing seems to be working for me. Here is what I have tried: added the port as an exception to windows firewall, forwarded the port to my router, restarted the router all changes stuck, still yellow light, tried again with another port on bitcomet and did the same thing again that I did earlier with the different port still didnt't work. So I tried turning off the windows firewall as well as my anti-spyware and virus protection still wont work. To let you know I am runnning xp with spyware doctor and a 2wire 1700hg g router i don't know if thats important but if anyone has any advice or help i would really appreciated it. If this doesn't work I think I just try using bitorrent instead although I would like to find a way to fix this.

For all users that can`t unblock The Listen Port:

For DSL or ADSL Connections types :

1.Go to Options in Bit Commet

2.Click Connection and Copy your Listen Port

3.Open Internet Explorer and type your Gateway there.Usualy in My Country (Romania)is 192.168.1.1 or (192.168.1.2) (without htttp ; or www... just the number of yours Default Gateway

4.You will see a little window with username and password.Put the username and pasword there to enter in your modem Settings.(If you dont have one,you must ask for that at your Internet Service Provider)[In my Country[Romania]]User is admin and Password is [the same]: admin

5.Click Basic Pop-Up,and select : Nat.Then,in the right pannel,click : Virtual Server.

6.Modify only this Fields:

Start Port Number

End Port Number

Start Port (Local)

Start Port (Local)

End Port (Local)

7.With what ? Paste your Listen Port (wich i told you at step 2)from Bit Comet in all 4 fields.

8.Click Submit

9.Click on Tools in Left Panel,and select Reboot.

10.Select curent Settings and click Restart.

11.Close your Bit commet,and open-it again.

The green light from Listen Port will be turned on in about 15 seconds.
