This problem only hapens when I use bitcomet,I start a download with bitcomet,im using v1.05 and all is fine for about 10-20 minutes then the download and upload will drop to zero and my internet is all dead no fuction for nothing web pages,e-mail,online games its all dead but my cable modem still is blinking saying all is ok and calling tec support to my ISP they test it saying its fine and theres no reson why my internet is dead and they have no clue to why this is going on and I should beable to connect to whatever they tell me I have not exceeded any limits to where they would cut me off so only thing I can do is turn off my computer for a few hours and come back later and all is fine untill I try to download something with bitcomet and it does it again.Like WTF is up with this BS.Guess I will try to upgrade to ver 1.07 and if it still does this BS I guess to hell with bitcomet and try using something else.

Which ones.Well in general setings both set to unlimited.Have a listen port.In port mapping have first two checked enable nat and enable UPNP.No proxy.Disk cache minimum at 6.max at 50.Shrink disk at 50.Cashe size for each HTTP is 512.Auto choose cache enabled or checked.

its quite possible your router cant handle your max open connections ,basically your overloading it and its shutting down,if they are set high try lowering the amount and see what happens.

some routers are prone to this.

cheers

I'm with sky broadband with unlimited access - this has happened to myself as well. After calling tech support they told me that my connection was set up for a gamer!! Apparently something to do with my MMoA!! Anyway they fixed it their end and no more probs! Check your ISP

Sometimes the problem is the modem or the router(not made to P2P). Try other brand if you can.

I had the same kind of problem.

I incremented my Half-Open Limit (in my case from 10 to 500) and I had almost get rid of that problem. I still have some disconnection from time to time but rarely compare to what it was before i changed that parameter.

To increment that limit go into Options, Advanced, new half-open limit.

I hope it will help!
