.doc to .lit file conversion

Hi guys

can anybody help, I have  downloaded a file of e-books in .doc format and i want to convert them to .lit format so i can read them on my ipaq PDA using MS reader, Is such a thing possible, if so what programs will do it preferably free if possible.....

You can convert the doc files to lit by using the Readerworks Standard which is free to download from http://www.overdrive.com/readerworks/
