How do I upload faster?
Size: Large, Medium, Small Sun Jan 25, 09 12:35 PM | Category: Useful Info

Can, please, someone give me tips of how to get uploads over 200kB/s?

I checked the settings and nothing I tried seemed to improve my upload speed.

I never manage to upload a completed torrent over 100 something kB/s.

The only time my upload speed could go higher is when I download a torrent and share it. That is because of some seeder (which himself is leeching the same file) with the same class IP that also gives me a good download speed as well.

Other than that, it always adds up to around 100kB/s upload speed. How come, after I finish downloading a torrent, the people that were leeching me with 300-400kB/s can't manage to connect to me again?

I care about my upload speed because I want my Total Uploaded be higher than my Total Downloaded.

Download speed & upload speed is interdependent .. like my download speed is 250 + kbps .but than my upload speed cant exceed more than 40 kpbs .. so when u seed after completion of torrent ..then u can get maximum upload speed .. but there is steel 1 big problem .that is connection usage upload bandwidth .. so u need to keep eyes on ur upload speed .. if torrent showing u different upload speed & ur actual upload speed is different than u need to restart upload again.. so it can save ur upload bandwidth ...if any help than write to me.. keep seeding ..thx

My connection is capable of a 120kb/s upload and I would often upload at 80+.

BitComet downloads faster but I can't get the upload over 10kb/s. I have green light on connection -- port forwarded properly. I've tried turning off the software firewalls - no effect.

I've activated/deactivated NAT and uPnP and it doesn't appear to make any difference.

I want to share but I'm downloading at 600-800+ but only uploading at dribble rates.

Any suggestions?

hi i′m capable of 750kB/s upload speed, and am having the same problem.

Upload speed ALWAYS sticks to 150kB/s !!!WTF!!!.

It even devides if I′m seeding several torrents, I wanna do my part and seed for ages.

I think it′s a waste of my bandwith capabilities. anyone have any suggestions. I′ve checked with my isp and they′ve got nothing to do with it. Also checked utorrent azareus and a load of others, they all have the same problem. perhaps it′s bittorrent related, or a restriction in vista.

my router is a thomson 608wl (not hooked up as wireless), and am told this router should be more than enough to get 750 plus speeds. After all My download limit is 2.5mB/s, which I′ve reached on several occasions.

My lan card is also mor than capable.

Any help is appreciated, have a nice day!
