HOLLYWOOD - Golden Globe-nominated actress
Evan Rachel Wood is "close" to signing a major record deal, according to reports.
The 19-year-old--currently dating rocker Marilyn Manson--has admitted she would prefer making music to movies.
And her dreams could soon turn into reality, as she is currently in talks with bosses at record label Interscope records.
An insider tells Entertainment Weekly, "The general buzz is that she does have a very good voice and genuinely wants to make music. You should hear her karaoke!"
