A little more about me.

Alright, well. So more about me, I have an nack for loving art. One of my passions is tattoos. This picture is my first piece, it is half a sleeve that extends all around my upper left arm. It is a Clipper ship being attacked by a giant squid, the under side has the captain being clenched by the squid. I plan to get more work done soon and also I plan on starting more tattoos.my tattoo shitty cell pic.

So from the underlining and huge amount of sarcasm. You must not like tattoos or people doing stuff like this to their bodies.

Well for one it is not an advertisement as you say. I am not getting paid to show it or to have it on my body. No company name or logo is incorporated into my piece. Also this is an expression of me. This piece means a lot to me as it is my first, also it is a reminder about life and one of my family members that I loved very much. I have a view of tattoos as an art form and as a way to express ones self. Like music, clothes and any other materialistic item you value in life.

Also how does getting a tattoo make me either Love my self, or am I damaging my body? If it is a damage side you take then be it. What doesn't damage us from a day to day basis? Water, walking, eating, smoking, the sun, the air, no exercise and even exercising. Everything we do, does some type of harm to our bodies and mind. Yes a Tattoo is like an open wound, but it does heal with time.

I guess all I can say now is make sure you say the right words to the right person. For I am not the average person that gets a tattoo at the age of 18 as a rebellious stage against my society and parents. I didn't get one to be the "cool kid" or to make chicks like me more. It took me time to think about what I wanted to have permanently forged into my skin.

So take your closed mind and get more educated about tattoos before you say something like that to someone that has a tattoo.

Also you spelled a lot wrong... simplest word to get right and still the majority of people can even spell it right... my sympathy goes out to your education and understanding of the English language.
