HOLLYWOOD - Kevin Federline is to reveal all about his troubled ex-wife Britney Spears in a TV interview with talk-show queen Oprah Winfrey.

Federline is expected to make an appearance on Oprah early next year, for what is promised to be an explosive interview detailing the reasons behind the breakdown of his marriage to the pop superstar and their bitter custody battle for sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.

A source close to Federline tells British newspaper The News of the World, "He wants to give his side and show the world he is a good father and concerned ex-husband. It's a huge step but he could turn around the public's view that he was the reason behind Britney's meltdown."

Spears and Federline split in November 2006.
